Trail closures and reroutes

Edition 8 of the Guidebook was published late in 2022. However, the development of and the maintenance of a footpath by a volunteer organization is always a work in progress and changes to the trails may happen after the publication date. If you notice errors, or omissions in the guidebook, please notify us at info@gvta.on.ca.

PLEASE BE AWARE:  

The Elora Gorge Conservation Area is CLOSED from October 16 to April 30. Entering the area off-season and after-hours is prohibited. The park is open from May 1 to October 15, from 8 am to 9 pm.  

The Black Walnut trail has roadwork present, causing a temporary closure at the Roseville bridge crossing the 401. The closure is from September 2024 until November 2025.
