About this hike: This hike will be in Black Walnut Section: Pinnacle Hill. Explore the Grand Valley Trail starting with the hilly Topper Woods, then walk through the subdivisions in Doon South and connect with the single-track trail of the Pinnacle Hill Natural Area, where the vista of Pinnacle Hill will impress you! From Doon Public School wider trails connect us to city streets briefly. We will cross Homer Watson Boulevard and continue along the Grand Valley Trail to admire the Grand River. Our lunch spot will be outdoors at the Homer Watson House. Then we will walk along Schneider Creek, gradually climb a trail to Windrush Park and walk along more city streets back to our start.
